What We Do
We care for the less privileged children and adults in homeless shelters and orphanage homes in America and Africa.
Why it matters:
Compassionate Mind Foundation envisions a world with reduced poverty in which all persons have the freedom and opportunities to pursue happiness and maximize their potential. Where children and adults are armed with better alternative options to make better decisions and empower themselves and their environments thereby impacting future generations.
Goals and Objectives
It is to offer a helping hand to the less privileged children and adults living in orphanage homes and homeless shelters who do not have the provisions like shelter, food, water, and educational resources that are needed for survival.
At Compassionate Mind Foundation, we live by five Core Values
⦁ Accountability
⦁ Integrity
⦁ Collaboration
⦁ Sustainability
⦁ Empowerment
These Core Values drive our short- and long-term goals and are the foundation of our mission. CM foundation believes in development, not aid, as development at the grassroots level empowers people to rise to their own giftedness and break the cycle of poverty.
Education frees people from bondage; ignorance is disabling.
It is every person’s right to be self-sufficient and determine their own destiny.
CM Foundation embraces diversity and supports people of all ages, ethnicities, nationalities, religions, genders, sexual orientations, or socioeconomic statuses.
Current Projects or Affiliated Projects-
A successful outreach often feels like our goal is met as a nonprofit organization. Our current project is to visit an orphanage home in Ghana in 2024. Ghana is an African country on the Atlantic Ocean and borders the African Countries Togo, Cote d’Ivoire, and Burkina Faso. It had a census of 29.6 million in 2018.
